A street refers to the position of a dealt card in games which have an increasing number of cards.

In stud the street refers to the position of the card from the start of the deal. The fifth card in a player's hand is the fifth street. For seven card stud the first up card is the third street.

In hold'em and omaha the street refers to the position of the community card. It is a term that tends only to be used for the fourth street (the turn) and the fifth street (the river).
