live bet
A live bet, or a live blind, is a bet, or typically forced bet, which both counts towards a players future bet, and does not count as a call. This allows a player who posted the bet to make a raise even if nobody else in the round players a bet before them.
Antes are not considered live bets as they don't add to the current bet, nor are they relevant for the betting being open or not.
Liv his put in her $5 big blind for this round. Everybody checks or folds to her. She has a live bet so is allowed to raise despite everybody calling. She puts in an additional $5 which adds to her first $5 and makes the bet $10.
