run it twice
In a game when all players are all in, typically in a heads up situation, there is an option to have the remainder of the cards dealt two times. All players need to agree to "run it twice". In this course of events the remaining cards are dealt twice and the pot is split between both runs.
Community card games like Texas Hold'em are where this option makes the most sense, though in theory it could also be used for other games. It is most common when two players go all-in on the flop in Texas hold'em. As with most forms of speciality betting it is not available in most online play.
A typical situation in Hold'em is when two players decide to go all-in on the flop. That is, the three cards of the flop are shown and one player has gone all-in and the other player has called. There are two cards left to be dealt. If those players choose to run it twice the dealer will deal two cards for the turn and river of the first run, and then two cards for the turn and river of the second run. If the same player wins both runs they claim the entire pot. If each run has a different winner then the players split the pot in half.
