counterfeit
Counterfeit refers to a situation where a player's hand is less than a hand shown by the community cards. It usually refers to a player who has a good hand, only to have the board show a stronger hand on the turn or river.
In the first day of WSOP 2010 Main Event, Joe Cada has pocket sixes 6♠ 6♥ and the board shows 9♣ 9♦ 8♠ J♠. He has two pair: nines and sizes. The river comes J♠ giving the board two pair: Jacks and nines. This counterfeits Joe's hand.
