Joker Trial Rules & Regulations
The Joker Trial is a name referring to an ongoing series of contests run by Trostlos Inc. on the website BigTPoker.com. If you have any questions about this contest not resolved here, please contact us.
Current game details, such as link to game, prize allocation and timeframe can be found here. These two pages together form the entirety of the rules.
Contest Timeframe
Each Joker Trial covers a period of two weeks starting on the date which the playable game has been made available. Due to procedural and technical limitations entries may be accepted several days before and after the planned timeframe.
Entry & Eligibility
The contest is decided by a skills game available on the BigTPoker.com website. Each completion of this game by an entrant is taken to be an entry in the contest. The game requires credits as part of the normal BigTPoker.com credit system. A user must be registered on the site in order to be eligible for any prizes.
No purchase is necessary. Free accounts are equally allowed as entrants. An individual may enter many times but only through a single user account.
This contest is only open to individuals residing in jurisdictions where such a contest is legal. The contest is being operated by Trostlos Inc., a registered corporation in Alberta, Canada. Entries from Quebec are not eligible.
All entries not in compliance with all of these rules will be ineligible. All entries associated with accounts which become invalid or unregistered during the course of the contest will be ineligible.
Decision
The final prize allotment will be done based on the standard scoring order for the game. First place will be awarded to the player with the highest rank, second place to the player with the next highest rank, and so forth. In the event of a tie, those tying positions will be randomly ordered.
The live game score board is only an approximate view of the actual scores and may not reflect the true ordering based on the complete stored scoring information.
Where possible, and known, some ineligible entries may be pruned from the results before the final ordering is constructed. Should a prize nonetheless be awarded to an ineligible entry or to an individual who can not, or does not wish to, accept the prize the prize for that position will be left unclaimed.
In many cases ineligible entries may be intentionally, or otherwise, left in the final ordering and that position's prize will not be awarded. These entries could include, but are not limited to, anonymous entries and entries from players in a ineligible jurisdiction.
Access and Technical Limitations
Entries to the contest can be done only via the provided game on the BigTPoker.com website. There is no guarantee of availability of this system or the availability of this system from particular regions.
The game may not be modified in any fashion, nor may it be embedded or used in any location other than BigTPoker.com. Interference with normal and expected game operations is also prohibited.
The game, as provided, is not guaranteed to be free of defects and may not operate, or operate correctly, for all individuals. Such difficulties may result in, but are not limited to, unfair allocation of scores and exclusion of entries.
