Another word for suit. Many people think, and speak, of every suit as a different colour, though in a standard deck only two colours are used: red and black.

In online play you nonetheless have the option to make all the suits different colours. The so called 4-colour cards. The colours used are:

• Clubs - Green
• Diamonds - Blue
• Hearts - Red
• Spades - Black

Using four colours is often preferred as people often oversee flushes and flush draws when using only two colours. The additional colours make it much easier to see when many of the same suit are present.
