fancy play syndrome
Fancy play syndrome (FPS) refers to employing an exceeding number of clever, tricky, complex or otherwise exotic tactics in comparison to straight forward abc poker.
Players with FPS enjoy check raising, floating, slowplaying, over betting, min betting, and any other way in which they can misrepresent their hand. Having FPS generally indicates the player is ineffective in their style and tends to lose more money than they should.
